The owner and Director of the STN NorthPenn soccer club, Rob Eaton created the STN soccer camps in 1990 while the Head Coach at Lycoming college. In 2001 Eaton introduced a year-round training program with professionally run travel teams that now represent the club under the STN NorthPenn logo.

Eaton's soccer education was a rich one in England where he was rated one of the very best young players in the Nation, just missing out on the National team in 1979. He was invited to tryouts with several Pro teams and gained the benefit of phenomenal coaching at such places as Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Leicester City, Derby County and the English Youth Team before deciding to join Notts County Football Club. While continuing his schooling Eaton played four years for the Magpies and was the leading goal-scorer in the Youth team and a significant player in the midlands club reserve team. Indeed, prior to coming to the U.S. Eaton played soccer in several countries while suiting up for County and considers himself privileged to have been trained by some of the best coaches in the world.
Moving to the USA in 1984 Eaton went on to play as an All American at Lock Haven University where he was named one of the top 25 players of the century in 2000.
A storied college coaching career saw Eaton acclaimed as one of the brightest young coaches in the country. Four Coach of the Year awards were provided to him in 18 years of college coaching in addition to winning league and conference championships and totally redefining the record books at several institutions along the way. Eaton guided four players to the ALL American level and saw dozens of players receive All Conference and League honors under his guidance as he saw stops at California university of PA, Lycoming College, Methodist college (NC), Clarion university & Lock Haven University.
Eaton has not only played with; played in front of; and coached our area's youngsters, but he has also inspired them to further their own soccer playing and coaching careers with not only his immense knowledge, but also with his love and spirit for the game. Well over two dozen of Eaton's former players are now themselves respected coaches at both the High School and College levels across the country, and all veteran SECOND TO NONE campers will inform you of an enjoyable and rewarding soccer experience under his guidance.
Asistant Coach Billy Hook
Billy is a former STN player that went on to play college soccer at Elizabethtown. Currently he is the Head boys coach at Central Mountain High School in Lock Haven.
Asistant Coach Ben Jensen
Another former STN player from Hughesville, Ben went on to the college ranks and played at Misericordia University.
Asistant Coach Elias Abunassar
An ODP player in H.S. Elias played at the University of Maryland and lives in nearby Lewsiburg.
Asistant Coach Markus Rybak
Markus is the current Assistant coach at Lycoming College, he has been with STN for well over 10 years and works with all the teams. Originally from Lunen, Germany, Markus played college soccer at Milligan University in TN.
Asistant Coach Makayla Dickey
Mak played for STN while a player at Central Mountain HS. She went on to play for Lock Haven University and is now an elementary school teacher.
Asistant Coach Isaiah Brader
Isaiah was a three time New York West, All State High School Player. He played ODP in New York and went on to play at Jamestown College.
Asistant Coach Cheyenne Spade
Cheyenne played locally at Mid West HS before moving on to NC State. After transferring to the Univ of Tennessee she played professionally in Sweden before returning to the US to become the Asst. Coach at Towson State University in MD.
Asistant Coach Chloe Eisenhuth
Chloe was a two time All State Champion in High School with Warrior Run while playing for STN. Chloe went on to play at Susquehanna University where she is now the full time Asst. Coach.
